
Recognized as one of the foremost female
executives at Comcast, Sue Wante exemplifies
the character of a true leader. In her
role as Vice President of Technical
Operations, she moved an organization that
was last in operational performance to best
in class. This success led to her promotion
in 2006 to her current role as Area Vice
President. Working out of Beverly, she is
responsible for general operations of the business in the North
Shore footprint, serving 340,000 customers.
Wante is part of the Comcast Senior Leadership Team that was
recognized as System of the Year for the entire company. She was
inducted into the Comcast Engineering and Technology Hall of
Fame in 2004 and is a member of the Society of Cable Television
Engineers. Dedicated to engaging in community investment initiatives,
she rallied more than 200 employees to revitalize
Brooksby Farm during the 2006 Comcast Cares Day.
Prior to joining Comcast in 1995, Wante held management and
consulting positions at Teleport Communications Group in Boston,
Rochester Telephone in Burlington and MCI Telecommunications
in Boston. Anative of Methuen, she was inducted into the
Methuen High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 1988.
