A member of the Jack & Jill Hair Salon
team for 14 years, Amy Drinan purchased
the business in 2005. Following
extensive renovations, Jack & Jill is now
a seven-chair salon. The salon won the
Reader’s Choice Awards for 2005, 2006
and 2007. It was also the Best of the Best
Beauty Salon Winner in 2007.
Active in community organizations and
local charities, Drinan participates in the Locks of Love
program and is a local donation collector for Redken’s Fight
against Hunger program. She supports Help for Abused
Women and Children in Salem. She is a yearly supporter
and walker for the North Shore Medical Center Cancer
Walk, a supporter and friend of the Beverly School for the
Deaf and a member of Fathers and Families Organization,
which gives moral and financial
support to fathers fighting for their parental rights.
Through her salon, Drinan has organized collection drives
for autism awareness and will be starting a Red Cross blood
drive in December. The salon is also a drop-off location for
the Fairy Godmother Project, which collects donations of
new and gently worn formal dresses and accessories.
