Menzer divides her time between her jobs as a fulltime nurse manager at an outpatient clinic in Chelsea and managing every aspect of the Alfalfa Farm Winery in Topsfield, where she plays an integral role in the sales and marketing of the product.

Her hard work and dedication have allowed the farm to grow into a sustainable business that welcomes public involvement.

This year, she worked closely with North Shore Community College’s Corporate and Community Education Department to host classes at her farm.

Menzer is a volunteer for the Essex Conservation District, the Topsfield Fair, and the Holocaust Center of the North Shore, and once went to La Azulita, Venezuela, to help build a youth center.
