Halter is responsible for the management
of the busy visual arts facility in Lynn’s Central Square, a haven for
art, theater and music, and a meeting place for community groups.
LynnArts is the keystone of the city’s
cultural revitalization effort in Central Square, and since her arrival
the local arts scene has grown by leaps and bounds. She manages the
scheduling of the exhibition space in the Time Warner Gallery and the
facility’s auxiliary exhibit spaces, as well as the private studios for
visual artists and the Rantoul Black Box Theatre.
Halter also serves as a liaison between
LynnArts and cultural groups in the city which utilize the facilities. She
came to Lynn from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, where she was
assistant director of admissions.
She is a visual artist herself, and has
produced works for several area arts groups. |
