A teacher beloved by students, parents and staff at the Sacred Heart School, Eagan worked her way through the ranks to become principal.

At a time when many parish schools are closing their doors, Sacred Heart remains a vibrant place where Eagan not only encourages children to learn, but to become part of the community by aiding such groups as HAWC, My Brother’s Table, local animal shelters, and victims of natural disasters.

Under Eagan’s guidance, the school has also reached out to alumni and friends with a development office that will help ensure its future. This year, Sacred Heart was one of 30 schools of 300 who applied statewide selected to host a Polar Express event in December, which will leave from the Lynn MBTA station.
