Christine Callahan, the leader of Lynn Product Development and Delivery for GE’s Aviation Division in Lynn, is one of the top managers at the plant, overseeing hundreds of employees who assemble and test a variety of complex military and commercial aircraft engines.

In 17 years at GE, Callahan has excelled at balancing her family life – a husband and three young children – and work. Her energy and positive attitude have helped transform the facility into a true center of excellence, which has been rewarded with investment and an influx of new work.

Callahan not only encourages and financially supports community volunteerism, she gets personally involved in initiatives such as educational programs with GE’s adopted school, Connery Elementary, and Lynn Woods improvements, projects and other community efforts.
